The national CIRTL Network offers a range of online workshops, webinars, and event series to help STEM grad students and postdocs refine their teaching approaches as they advance through their academic careers, including:

Online CIRTLCast Seminars

These one-hour online CIRTLCast seminar series events for graduate students and postdoctors are led by faculty and staff from the 40 CIRTL Network universities. Sessions are open to all on a drop-in basis through a web browser or the Blackboard Collaborate mobile app, with no pre-registration required.

Online Workshops

Online workshops include an interactive online session with assignments before and after to help participants develop a specific, concrete product. Recent workshop topics include:

Teaching as Research Seminars

The Teaching as Research Capstone Seminar Series brings together graduate students, postdocs, and faculty from across 40 CIRTL research universities through live web conferencing to discuss design and methodology for classroom research projects, share useful resources, present preliminary results, and get constructive advice.
